The random quote generator has been running over in the top right of the blog for a while now. I am always on the look out for new quotes that aren’t in the list. Do you have a favourite bicycle related quote?
Two of my personal favourites are below.
“Pedal Dammit” on the top tube of all Niner MTBs.
The HG Wells one is my favourite, although I always thought it was “Every time I see an adult on a bicycle, I no longer despair for the future of the human race.”
Also “Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride. . . .” -JFK
That sounds more Wells-esque to me. I will try and change the graphic.
Thanks Evan.
“The bicycle has a soul. If you succeed to love it, it will give you emotions that you will never forget” –Mario Cipollini
“It never gets easier, you just go faster.” ~ Greg LeMond.
“It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” ~ Ernest Hemingway
“Don’t buy upgrades, ride up grades”- Eddy Merckx I think
“Given the remarkable growth in support for gays and lesbians, I think
there is a chance that recumbents might someday be accepted.” -Can’t remember who.
LOL. That gave me a giggle. Will do some GooglBling.
