It was a year ago that cycling lost one of its family. Wouter Weylandt died whilst competing in last years Giro d’Italia. I expect some sort of memorial at todays stage. I hope everyone realises just how dangerous a sport it can be. And also that his family and friends are coping on a day that I can only imagine how tough it would be.
