Mr Ring from inrng.com sent this out this morning on Twitter.
If you saw Simon Gerrans win Milan-Sanremo and wowed at his power data, now you can do both at the same time suffervision.appspot.com/embed.html?vid…

Just in case the formatting is stuffed, here is the link.
It is pretty interesting to watch Gerro pump out 500W just to stay on Cancellara’s wheel about 1km from home.
In homage to this weekends Tour of Flanders, just one of the mad climbs they will be doing, Koppenberg. It sees 22%. Seeing pros off the bikes running is bloody terrific. The Flemish commentators make it even more special. The Voot, The Boom and more Van Oops.
This Sunday night we get the next big race of the season, the Ronde van Vlaanderen (Official site here http://www.rvv.be/en), otherwise known as the Tour of Flanders. Some times know to an old cycling buddy I used to work with as the Ron The Van Flanderan. The second of the ‘monuments‘, it comes just ahead of the Paris Roubaix, which will be run and won next weekend. The Tour of Flanders takes place every 14th Sunday of the year.
This from the official web site.
The Tour of Flanders was conceived of in 1913 by Karel Van Wijnendaele, co-founder of the sportspaper ‘Sportwereld’. In that era it was customary for publishers of newspapers and magazines to organise cycling races as a way of promoting circulation.
For us Aussies, SBS will be streaming and showing it live on SBS One.
SBS’s coverage of the Tour of Flanders begins at 9:30pm AEST Sunday 1 April with live streaming online at Cycling Central, with coverage on SBS ONE starting at 10.30pm. Analyst David McKenzie will join host Mike Tomalaris in the studio and commentary will come from Matt Keenan and Scott McGrory.
For live race tickers, video and audio, steephill.tv is the place to check.
This for me, is what the Ron the van Flanderan is all about.
Just back from getting my first tattoo, just in case I ever want to race on the world tour.
Now I just have to get the razor out, work on my Flemish and develop some skills on a bicycle!
A couple of weeks back I posted an article about Taylor Phinney posting his Milan San Remo data on Strava. It got me wondering, how many pros actually post on Strava? I sent an email off to Strava support asking that very question and got this reply back.
Hi Todd,
Due to our privacy policy, I am not able to share this information with you. You are welcome to search for public pro racer profiles, but I am not able to create the list you have requested. Sorry about that. Have a great week!
Cheers,
Rosie

Bugger. So you can imagine my surprise when I was flicking around Strava’s blog tonight and found this.
Hmm, bottom right. Click and bingo!Seems like there maybe a comms breakdown in Strava. 🙂
Now obviously it isn’t a full list of pros. People like Taylor Phinney aren’t yet listed as pros, but it is a good start if you are interested in watching how the pros train and race.
… before people started copying the lunatic antics of Danny Macaskill.
Thanks to @billgifford.
I had been told about it, but only last night did I watch it. Edvald Boasson Hagen looks like a choir boy but is actually swinging a fist at the end, and then gets on in the ribs from Matt Goss.
Sadly, the CyclingCentral sharing code has got a bug, so try the link below.

Warning, Cav drops a clanger near the end, but it is one of the reasons people love him. Much like Wiggins, they don’t mince words.
