Centennial Park Video Against Speed Humps.

I am not going to enter the debate, I don’t know enough about it, but here is one side of the story. Feel free to comment below if you agree or disagree with speed humps in Centennial Park.

A friend in Sydney tells me the bunch cyclists at Centennial Park are a hazard. Again, I am not commenting, I have never ridden there.

Newtown Cyclist Needs Help with Car Identification.

Can the Sydney people help out a fellow Sydney cyclist. It is all over Reddit.com, News.com and Twitter. See if the cycling collective can hunt down maniacs like this and get the law to prosecute them to it’s fullest extent.

Do you know this car?

Do you know this car?

Mr Moore said the COPS number for the reported incident was E47648731.

Koen de Kort's Radio Found.

The other day I posted a photo of Koen de Kort looking a bit like a mummy. Well his team mate, Marcel Kittel, has found his radio from the day he went sliding along the tarmac.

He should eBay it for the fans.

2012 Gent-Wevelgem Live Video, Route, Teams, Results and Photos

The first of the Cobbled Classics is on tonight, the 2012 Gent-Wevelgem. And in huge news for us Aussies with out pay TV and Eurosport, SBS are streaming it live at Cycling Central.

Cyclingnews.com has the full start list here. Can Boonen go back to back? There has never been an Aussie winner, so given we have an Aussie team in GreenEDGE there, can Matty Goss get the win?

Can Cav win it?

Can Cav win it?

Can Cavendish win it? He has a hell of a strong team to get him to the finish.

One for Lewy.

The big fella is doing a 24 hour MTB race with some mates this weekend in Canberra. I should have sent him this to inspire him. 🙂

Thanks to Carl for the heads up.

Koen de Kort's new Mummy Look

After singing his praises yesterday, Koen de Kort was caught up in a horror crash in the E3 Prijs Vlaanderen-Harelbeke.

This is part of the race report at cyclingnews.com that was won in a bunch sprint by Tom Boonen.

In the descent of the Boigneberg there was a major crash in the peloton. Several riders went down at high speed including Millar (Garmin-Barracuda), Koen de Kort (Project 1T4I), Jelle Wallays (Topsport Vlaanderen-Mercator), Jens Mouris (Greenedge), Sébastien Hinault (AG2R-La Mondiale) and Jan Gyselinck (Cofidis).

The result of the crash for Koen was this tweet..

Here is the photo.
